Well, what language did you think I spoke, then?

I speak German (not a natural speaker, though, so it's not perfect) and I think Dutch sounds better... people who don't speak either language can't really tell.

In writing, Dutch is pretty hard to tell the difference from German.
Although, if you hear it, you'll hear the difference immediately. German has "sharper" tones.

I was worried I was going to embarrass myself and recognize your language as something other than Dutch. You're the first Dutch speaker I've met on CB :)
